Ahoj! Welcome to our page!

Our team is spending 8 weeks in the Czech Republic as part of the Iacocca International Internship program at Lehigh University. We are partnering with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to promote social inclusion for the Roma.

Social exclusion is a reality for many children and adults, arising from multi-dimensional processes but most certainly resulting in unequal access to basic human necessities such as housing, healthcare, education, and employment.  The Roma are a people who have known long-standing exclusion, from Nazi death camps to many subtler acts of denial to a life of dignity.  Because of the almost universal non-acceptance of Roma as a group, gaining understanding of the variables stemming from and perpetuating exclusion can serve as a template for designing a campaign for social inclusion of all people existing outside the mainstream.
